Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki was conceived in Miami, Florida on November 30, 1977. American electro-house musician as well as record producer, D.J. Music executive. He is the son of Rocky Aoki and Chizuru Kbayashi. His father, who was a former wrestler, was also the co-founder of the restaurant chain Benihana. He has two older siblings: sister Kana who is commonly known as Grace as her middle name Grace as well as brother Kevin (owner of Doraku Sushi). The half-sister of his is Devon Aoki, a model and actress. He was born in Newport Beach and graduated from Newport Harbor High School with an 1995 B.A. in badminton. After having graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree, the student attended UC Santa Barbara. degrees: one in feminist studies & the other in sociology. He recorded DIY music and held underground performances from his Biko room at the Santa Barbara Student Housing Cooperative during his time at college.
