Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year in junior high school. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers. Gregory is her older brother and Evan is her younger brother. From the age of nine until 16, she began working in the industry of entertainment through modeling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock was among those who received training to this manner and so were Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her first role was in Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to relocate from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles. Within the following couple of months, she was offered the part of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge of almost every stunt and proved herself to be an accomplished actor. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to get a regular part on Friends.
