Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in the United Kingdom since the early 1980s. In the year 1990 it was reported that she could have been Hugh Grant's girlfriend. In the 1990s, when Grant's film Four Weddings and a Funeral received global interest in the media, Hurley accompanied Grant to its Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace dress with gold safety-pins. The dress instantly earned her media recognition. Hurley's association in the company of Estee Lauder is her most memorable professional experience. Hurley was first offered a modeling contract with the company when she was just 29 years old. Since then, the company has utilized Hurley as a brand model specifically for perfumes such as Sensuous Intuitions and Pleasures. In the popular spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she played Vanessa Kensington. Hurley has been modeling and designing an eponymous beachwear line. But the mixture of sensuality and polished music contributed to the fact that I Kissed a Girl become the number one song in multiple countries powering the album sales of the Boys (2008). The sharp, bouncey second track was popular. The album that Perry composed in large part sold more than three million copies.
