Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is an actress and model. She made her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan is in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began modeling after she was approached. It turned out to be a lucrative career. Doody strictly avoided glamour, nudity and thongs when she was modeling. When she was dragged into the sights of the director who cast an upcoming James Bond film she accepted an unimportant role as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody is listed in John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as one of the 12 top actors in 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 years old when she took on the character as a Bond girl. The first time she appeared was in the 1988 movie Taffin opposite Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian Nazi-sympathizer and archaeologist opposite Harrison Ford. It also featured Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody was a part of three actors in the role of James Bond. Doody was in the British mini-series Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. The show was inspired by the Hitler Diaries publication scam. She later moved to Hollywood. She played Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody was a part of The 2002 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony for an award. The year 2004, she appeared alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. Doody was a part-time actress in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). She later guest starred in RTE's medical drama The Clinic and was set to star in a 2011 remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project ended up being cancelled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). In November of 2018, she won the Almeria award for best film and received a Star on the Walk of Fame in Almeria.
