Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on November 18th, 1985. Her birthplace was Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister from the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was a natural at sports early in her life, and discovered her speedy abilities while she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she was second in the 200-meter race on the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to professional work with Adidas in 2003, and was then accepted into University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest World Champion in the 200m in the Helsinki World Championships. She retained her title in 2007 defeating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in every event.
